I have added a “review” category. I had the site  Energy Boomer link to this blog. When I checked it out, I really liked liked the site and feel it will be a good resource. I’ll be posting a review of Energy Boomer soon. I have added it to the blog roll. In the future I will be including reviews of other sites that have similar information.

If there are any sites that would be helpful to link to and review, please post a comment on this post, thank you.

Hello

I am a single mom without a college degree struggling to pay bills and usually juggling 2-3 jobs along with caring for my family. (3 of my 5 children are adults). I had always focused on how I could get more money and spend less to decrease the gap between the income that comes in and the money that goes out. I’m always short on the latter one!

As an internet entrepreneur I have to wait for income to come in from my projects. I keep moving along with those projects and trust it will pay off in the future. In the mean time I supplement my full time job working as support staff in group homes with writing services. I write articles for pay for websites and blogs. Still, I cannot pay my bills on time and struggle to afford the house I live in.

Recently I became a little more aware of environmental issues. In learning about harvesting water and the suns energy, my mind started to turn in a different direction. Instead of thinking what I could do without to fee up some money, I started thinking…..how can I have what I have and not paying for it.

It all started with water. I was inspired by some information I gathered writing articles and a tour of the University of Arizona’s Research Lab.  I have decided by the time the monsoons hit here in southern Arizona in a couple months, I will be ready to harvest water and significantly reduce my dependency on the water company. Harvested water, even here in southern Arizona, can mean, tens of thousand of gallons of free water.

So yesterday I began preparing. My ideas will be simple and inexpensive. I am not in a place to put out a bunch of money to save money!
