Reduce Utility Bills

I have a link to Energy Boomer in my sidebar. It is Birney Summers’ blog about saving money on energy bills at home and at work. It was started in March 2007. His mission is to help people save money on energy bills and to do his part to help save the planet.

It is a great blog with practical ideas and helpful suggestions. I like that he doesn’t limit himself to saving at home. He expands the suggestions to the work place. This is a great idea, because saving at work not only has a great impact, but it can inspire and encourage others to take what they learn at work about saving energy home.

There is a nice list of links to related sites, most popular posts, and recent posts. This is a great resource and you will find many more ways to save money on utility bills and save energy. I’m glad Birney chose to share his expertise on Energy Boomer.

Reducing utility bills also helps save our planet. I am one of the writers on About My Planet.  The posts are by several writers and has great environment related posts.  The alternative energy category may have some ideas you can use to help reduce utility bills.

There are two subcategories, wind and solar. The posts in the alternative energy category not only has ways to use alternative energy but also provides education and information on alternative energy.

I have added a “review” category. I had the site  Energy Boomer link to this blog. When I checked it out, I really liked liked the site and feel it will be a good resource. I’ll be posting a review of Energy Boomer soon. I have added it to the blog roll. In the future I will be including reviews of other sites that have similar information.
