My name is Jan Pavis. I am a single mom juggling jobs and bills. It’s a constant struggle. Instead of figuring out how to do without to have more money to pay bills, I decided to change my focus and figure out how to have less bills to pay.

It started with Earth Day 2007 and I realize that saving the planet will save me money! We have so much free water and energy that is unused, unharvested, and wasted. My plan is to make the most of what the earth gives for free and reduce my utility bills. I’m going to do it will little to no cost!

Even if you can’t implement some of my ideas, I hope this blog inspires you to discover what you can do!

  1. Looks like you are off to a great start with your Reduce Utility Bills blog.

I am sure that my readers will enjoy your very easy and useful how to posts as much as I do.

We seem to have the same mission, to help folks keep their cash in their pockets and out of the utility bill paying envelope.

I am putting a link to your site on my blog.

  4. Thank you Birney! I haven’t had a chance to write a post yet, but I reduced my gas usage by 20 therms with 2/3 of our laundry being hung up to dry!

  5. Good post. You make some great points that most people do not fully understand.

I like how you explained that. Very helpful. Thanks.
